The American-Marsh product line began in 1873 by introducing the world to products offered by the American Steam Pump Company. Hundreds of models were designed and offered in a variety of markets. The industrial, food and commercial markets benefited from a vast array of product all designed to meet market requirements. Innovations to the steam pump were pioneered by American Steam Pump Company and these innovations changed the pump market.

Proof of the commitment to the American Steam Pump offering continued by introducing the first of the centrifugal designs offered by any pump company at the time. The very first end suction and split case products offered by American-Marsh were begun during this era. These designs and the same commitment continue today...
