6" H SERIES motors are wet type, water filled, water cooled and rewinadable. The stator windings are of water proof synthetic film insulated copper winding wires. The unique design of the thrust bearing of the Eagle Series motors offers reliable service coupled with long life. Shaft seals, grommets and "O" rings are used to prevent entrance of sand and well water into the motor. A rubber diaphragm is provided to guard against pressure and volume variations due to thermal expansion of water inside the motor. A NEMA standard splined shaft extension is provided for easy coupling and transmission of power to the pump. These motors require a consant flow of water (Liner Flow) past it's body to maintain the correct operating temperature.
